San Cristobal de las Casas

A few pictures of and around San Cristobal , Than we intended eigendlich, we remained much longer in San Cristobal. The city pulled us into its spell. We found finally functioning computers and could our Hompage again once on the current conditions bring. We were very surprised like clean it in this city compared with others mex. Cities is and it has all supplying possibilities those the life to make pleasant. Also with our lodging, we made a luck grasp for the Magic Hostal. We were in the middle in the center and could everything to foot reach. We enjoyed it by the close lanes with their multicolored houses and some churches to walk in which ceremonies of the Mayareligion are predominantly celebrated. On the markets multicolored driving and Mayafrauen in colored Trachten prevail sell a great deal exotic fruits and vegetables or hand-made textiles in magnificent colors. Everywhere bubbles and cooks it and strange smells rose to us into the nose. We naturally also tried some. Just as alive as the day also the night life is in San Cristobal. The roads are full people and innumerable bars and restaurants, usually with live music of all style directions and eigendlich always happy hour, let the night fast pass. Also the low prices ensure that nobody must go thirstily home. It took place an also straight Musikfestivall and we visited some concerts at free entrance, likewise only about 5 going minutes from the Hostal far away, on the free area of the cathedral. On horses we rode over a small passport after San Juan Chamula, a small small town in close proximity to San Cristobal. In the church we saw many Indios there celebrating with their Mayarituale. Coka Cola is a firm component of this ceremony. It replaced another, old Mayagetraenk. It used around bad spirit ¨hinauszuruelpsen¨. The church soil is full Piniennadeln and rope that candles. There are banks none, one sits or kneels at the soil. A boat route led us in Canon de Sumidero, in close proximity to Tuxla Gutierrez, and we saw a few crocodiles. Tobias made also a Mountainbiketour around radeln to not completely forget… Also in the Hostal we spent some merry evenings with people from all world…
