For centralAmerican conditions the border crossing was rapidly settled and in the next city with the name Somoto made we conclusion for today, because two times on the day a border to cross is more than normal humans to bear can. By closely bewachsene mountains the Pan led to, down there into the level to the Lago de Managua. We passed sugar tubing fields and stands at the roadside where harvest-fresh fruits were again and again offered. Particularly the coconuts did it to Tobias. Often also iguana were sold as living travel provisions. Our second and already again last night in Nicaragua we spent de Nicaragua, which is with 8624 square kilometers the largest lake central America in San Jorge at the Lago. Out of the water two volcanos rise up. The larger of both, the 1610m high Volcano Concepcion is still active. In the lake also bulletins Sharks live beside some other fish. Up to three the meters of long sharks came long ago by the Rio San Juan of the Caribik ago swum and here became domestic and thus the only fresh water sharks of the world. It would give to visit also here still so much and discovers, but us already some time ago it became clear that one year is much too short for our journey and so we must drive on again and again with a heavy heart to come in hope sometime perhaps nevertheless again once into this area. Thus gieng our journey of far direction southeast and we came in the morning 8 December to the border of Costa Rica.
